Well , it depends for anime there are diferent kind of them, Example like Blade of immortal there are a lot of old japanese words and a lot of history to take note of.

I had to checkout the final episode on raw (even though I couldn’t understand Jack) but I hope you can translate the last 5 minutes because (without spoiling it for others) I wasn’t expecting it to end like that.

Thx for the ep, but subbing final one is taking far too long. I know it is hard to translate and you guys also have your lives, but take a note and think about your fans sometimes.

You guys should be grateful that they’re translating these at all. It’s not like they’re getting paid, so don’t try to push them harder. Seriously, theses guys do this because they like it and because they know that there are others who want to watch these shows, so when they take a while to get something done don’t complain.

I really don’t think anyone’s complaining, it’s a thankless job & hardwork but as long as you’re proud of each episode you do, it’ll show for all to see.

(You really don’t need to make a 3-D surround sound special edition to impress us! Granted, translating old-school kanji is really hard, but most of us are english speaking so we’ll pretty much believe anything you put in! )
Nollog, I would rather you take the time to get it correct and as you said there have been personal issues etc.. Considering you guys are the only ones subbing this I am sure we can all wait a little while longer for you guys to sort out whatever you need to sort out…

lol !!!! I remember got one anime call gigantic formula subbed by lunar, it took them i think 8 months to release the last episode cos the leechers pissed them off.
Y’know, this site has this neat thing called an RSS feed. I suggest those of you who continue to piss and moan about the release date subscribe to it and just check it daily like the rest of us.

If the raw, time, pc and a dictionary is all we need to translate a episode then why dont we all make the translation ourself?
The only thing I hope is “Blade of the Immortal” wasnt dropped.
time, alot is needed, especially if your going to learn to understand the words and tones(Japanese is a very complex language to even listen to without comprehension), but a better use of time would be to go to translation groups that have a Suggestions topic and would be willing work on the episode, be sure to let them know about Kesenai’s & affiliates work, so they wouldn’t be reinventing the wheel.
