Crunchyroll doesn’t air KHR in my region. Besides, is it subbed when it airs on crunchyroll?

Pif… Another fansub dropping KHR. Seriously… Do they think banning releases of animes from fansubs will earn them more bucks and popularity? I think a smarter move would be to sell fansubbing rights.

How should I put it… Maybe something with a points system. Lets say about 10 episodes for 1 credit, and the fansubbers buy this credit for a certain amount. After which viewers donate to support the fansubs they like. Most of the community wouldn’t mind supporting fansubs through donations. Plus, this not only helps companies earn money, but fansubbing would become somewhat more legal.

Not to mention that lousy fansubs would be weeded out, and FUNimation would be left with a few of the best fansub services ever. And perhaps they could use subs by whichever fansub services are left in their DVDs, since more often than not, companies ALWAYS screw up their translation. Subbing animes should be left to fansubbers and fansubbers only.

It’s not like we get anything but the fun of a job well done by subbing.
If crunchy expand to Ireland, it’d be nice to sit back and watch all the latest Japanese anime without putting in any effort just the same.
