Everyone uses some kind of mask to be able to fit into society…
Be it at work, or with not so close acquaintances, everyone acts different than what they actually are in order to prevent conflict, get a date, attain objectives…
However, what if that true personality is considered dangerous, and even lethal?
Would you be able to hang out around those people? Would you even be able to sleep at night knowing they are around there lurking somewhere, sneaking around like cockroaches ready to attack their prey with their fists/scissors/cookies?
Seeing things from another angle, it would be an asset to have those people as your friends, of course… although maybe they’d still beat the crap out of you if you ever angered them by eating the last slice of pizza that they were keeping in the fridge to eat later on in the evening when they felt somewhat hungry after kicking the crap out of some random hooligans that were randomly trashing trash cans around the bridge you somehow felt compelled to inhabit..
And then, maybe you would be able to become a gang leader and start bullying rich people and annoying old people in the streets while vandalizing random star’s caravans and puking the last beer you had at the rock festival you just came from…
Maybe you could do stuff like that…
…but not today, you are tired today.
